Americans for the Preservation of Liberty has joined (PDF) a 186-member coalition to fight the Henry Waxman (D-CA) - Ed Markey (D-MA) global warming bill, HR 2454, the so-called "American Clean Energy and Security Act."
The bill would raise domestic energy prices noticably, reduce American competitiveness, and if it had any effect whatsoever on global temperatures, which it probably wouldn't, it would be a tiny one indeed.
